![]() The OWC Express 4M2 is a really compact external enclosure, built out of extruded aluminum and anodized in black. #SABRENT ROCKET PRO FAIL DURING SILVERSTACK CHECKSUM SOFTWARE#Let’s take a look at the specification sheet for the OWC Express 4M2, which doesn’t come with drives: Number of BaysĠ, 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, JBOD via Software (SoftRAID XT)Ģx Thunderbolt 3 (40Gb/s), DisplayPort 1.2Ĥ.4in x 5.4in x 2.4in (11.3cm x 13.6cm x 6cm)ĥC to 35C (41F to 95F), -304.8m to 3,048m (-1,000ft to 10,000ft) The 5-year warranty is also a nice-to-have for something I use professionally. ![]() Even in this PCIe Gen3 configuration and limited by Thunderbolt 3’s 40Gb/s interface, they’re still great options for their sustained performance and better-than-average write endurance of 3600TBW, with a claimed 1.7 million hours mean time between failures. These drives are definitely overkill for this setup, as they’re PCIe Gen4 and can do up to 5GB/s read and 4.4GB/s write each, but they’re what I had on hand. In this review, I’ll be looking at this device and how it fits into my workflow as a Digital Imaging Technician in the motion picture industry.įor this review, I have the Express 4M2 configured with four 2TB Sabrent Rocket NVMe 4.0 drives in RAID0. Configurable in a variety of RAID options via OWC’s SoftRAID XT software (which is included as a $100 add-on), this external enclosure packs some serious performance in a small package. Chain chronicle crack11/8/2022 ![]() ![]() While experts say best practices call for officers to rotate out of units such as narcotics regularly, dozens of officers have spent 10 years or more in that division at HPD. The Chronicle’s review also raises questions about the oversight of the division. They performed sloppy investigative work and misrepresented their use of confidential informants, according to disciplinary records and court documents. Officers filed false affidavits when they asked judges for search warrants or arrest warrants. However, a Houston Chronicle review of police records reveals a fuller picture of misconduct by Goines and past problems in the narcotics division. “I don’t have any indication it’s a pattern and practice,” Acevedo said after the raid. ![]() HPD Chief Art Acevedo maintains the problems with the operation and deaths of Tuttle and Nicholas were the work of a pair of rogue officers. His partner, Steven Bryant, was charged with tampering with a government record. Goines was later charged with felony murder. In an affidavit Goines used to obtain a search warrant for the Harding raid, he allegedly lied about using a confidential informant to buy drugs, bringing the Houston Police Department’s narcotics division under intense scrutiny in one of the worst scandals to hit HPD in decades. Police found small amounts of cocaine and marijuana but no heroin. Homeowners Rhogena Nicholas and Dennis Tuttle were killed and five officers injured. Squad 15 broke down the door of the small home on Harding during a supposed heroin bust, but gunfire and chaos erupted instead. Goines’ squad was one of two units tasked with low-level drug enforcement in south Houston. But the raid by Squad 15 on 7815 Harding Street in January ended much differently. Six months later, police returned and arrested Williams - at the apartment next door.Įarlier this year, Goines raided another home halfway across the city. It was a fruitless raid for Goines and his squad. Instead, Goines detained Brooks’ husband, Sherman, for hours before releasing him without charges. ![]() But Goines didn’t find the marijuana they said Williams was dealing. ![]() AuthorWrite something about yourself.
